How do I start a recording?

Tap the microphone on the home screen, in a note or on Apple Watch. Tap again to stop; Ruby writes the note.

Ruby’s note didn’t appear.

Ruby needs a connection to write. Keep the app open for a moment once you are online; the note fills in by itself.

My notes aren’t on my other device.

Check that iCloud is on for Rubynotes in Settings › your name › iCloud, on both devices.

How do I restore a purchase?

Open Settings in the app, then Rubynotes Plus, and tap Restore purchases.

How do I cancel Rubynotes Plus?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple: Settings › your name › Subscriptions.

I forgot my vault’s master password.

Use the recovery key you saved when you set up the vault. Without it the vault can’t be opened, by design.
